💡 How Tendios was born
Turning a problem into an opportunity
The story of Tendios begins in mid‑2022, when Xavi Creus, an industrial engineer, experienced firsthand the pains of taking part in public tenders: difficulty finding opportunities, a multi‑step process and repetitive documents… That experience sparked an idea: what if we applied technology to solve this problem? The answer was the founding of Tendios: the first platform that could notify you in real time about tenders relevant to your company. To accelerate development and distribution, Xavi and his partner (Vane) invested their personal savings and hired the first two team members: Jordi (developer) and Yvette (sales and support).
By early 2023 Tendios already had several paying customers, a four‑person team and a product that kept adding functionality… but savings were running out. At that point, after product and market validation (Product‑Market Fit), they decided to raise the first round (FFF: Family, Friends and Fools) of €50,000, and the first investors joined the company, among them Albert, a university colleague and also an industrial engineer, who would join as co‑founder and Co‑CEO to help Xavi and co‑lead the project. From that moment the vision was set: ‘Create the best platform to simplify public procurement with Artificial Intelligence’.

From idea to the founding of Tendios
Xavi suffers the pains of bidding firsthand and builds the first version of Tendios to detect opportunities. The solution works for him and a couple of friends, and at that point he founds Tendios and makes the first two hires: Jordi and Yvette.
Expansion and vision with Artificial Intelligence
Seeing the initial success, Xavi asks Albert, a university colleague, to join as co‑founder and Co‑CEO so they can lead together.
