Appel d'offres pour Prior information notice (pin) - anuncio de información previa, for pre-commercial procurement to buy research and development services to design, develop and demonstrate cost-effective wave energy convertor systems for electrical power production in the ocean environment (the europewave pcp). the procurement aims to trigger new solutions to be developed and tested to address the following overarching challenge: the design, development, and demonstration of cost-effective wave energy convertor (wec) systems for electrical power production that can survive in the harsh and unpredictable ocean environment. the europewave pcp procurement is a joint procurement by two procurers (wes - wave energy scotland limited and eve - ente vasco de la energía) within europe that are facing the same common challenge and are thus looking for similar solutions (so-called "buyers group"). the pcp is carried out by wes (www.waveenergyscotland.co.uk / +44 (0) 1463 245 245 / wesprocurement@hient.co.uk) who was appointed as lead procurer to coordinate and lead the joint procurement in the name and on behalf of the buyers group (wes and eve). this pin provides early information about the expected starting date and proposed scope for the pcp, and about the open market consultation that is organised in preparation of this procurement. more information about the pin and the open market consultation is provided in: https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/search/show/search_view.aspx?id=feb408104 www.europewave.eu
