Tender for The purpose of this contract is the supply, installation, configuration and subsequent official support of two systems, one for data storage and another for backup, for the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2). It is a key project in hand, and the objective of the project is: • to replace the current NetApp FAS2554 enclosure, which stores all the files of the ICN2. • to physically install the new enclosures, with their corresponding cabling. • to configure the enclosures for proper operation, maintaining IP addresses, computer names, etc., in the case of replacing the current NetApp FAS2554 enclosure, so that the change is completely transparent to the user. • to configure the other new enclosure to perform backups of the data from the new enclosure that will replace the FAS2554, with a backup schedule defined by the ICN2.
