The project provides for the improvement of the permeability of water in the Adaja River in the section from the entrance to the Soto, upstream of the bridge on the N-403 road to the pre-treatment of the EDAR of Avila. The Chico River can also be cleaned from the mouth of the Chico River in the Adaja River to the Sanguijuela Houses. Among the works in the project is the recovery of the lookout, returning it to its natural state, which was affected during the flood period in the city in March 2025. In the same way it will be the reconstruction of the slope of the channel that was affected by the flood of the river Adaja in its passage through Avila, because the non-action can endanger the pedestrian walk that currently exists. Among the actions established in the Chico River is the completion of a masonry wall that gives continuity to an existing one, being an improvement in the protection of the facilities that are attached to it, action that is carried out in the vicinity of the Puente de la Sanguijuela. The planned action is the execution of the removal of plant remains in a preferred way of the channel, as well as the realization of works, for the improvement of the same after the avenues produced.. The estimated value of the contract is €287,603.30 , with a budget excluding taxes of €239,669.42 . The procedure modality is Simplified Open, and currently its status is Published.
