In the area of interconnection of headquarters, the City of Avila seeks an even more developed and robust approach, replacing SD--WAN-based networks with Layer- 2 networks with the capacity to transport VLAN based on protocol 802.1Q. One of the foundations of this requirement is not to lose performance, such as the extremely low latency that is currently enjoyed, which characterizes campus or metropolitan networks, formed by point-to-point circuits. The City of Avila is promoting an evolution towards a communications model that is based on the principles of robustness, agility, security, integration and scalability, in order to ensure a modern, efficient and resilient infrastructure that supports the digital transformation of the institution and the continuous improvement in the provision of services to the citizen. On this basis, the telecommunications services of the City of Avila are offered, including the areas of fixed and mobile telephony, broadband Internet access, data transmission between headquarters and associated services, as well as the maintenance of the infrastructure necessary for its proper delivery. The contract seeks the provision of related services and the full maintenance of the necessary equipment and infrastructure to ensure the proper provision of the services throughout its duration, including the LAN equipment necessary to provide the VoIP service, understanding that these are essential services for the proper functioning of the City Council. The estimated value of the contract is €312,000.00 , with a budget excluding taxes of €234,000.00 . The procedure modality is Open, and currently its status is Prior Notice.
